“Authenticity is coming from a real place from within where our actions and words are congruent with our beliefs and values. Authenticity compels us to dig deep, learn about ourselves, challenge old beliefs, face our fears and doubts and find where we most feel alive.”
The Authenticity Project was birthed out of reflective conversations between Mo Issa and Ruka Sanusi on the theme of purpose, passion, and, in the words of Brené Brown, ‘daring greatly’.
The purpose of the project is to identify and celebrate individuals living authentic lives – individuals determinedly pursing a vocational passion, a pioneering vision, even in the face of uncertainty. The goal of the project is to inspire and awaken many others to think deeply about and respond to the quiet voice within that may be inviting and evoking them to a life-journey, a vocational journey, on the road less travelled.
